A View from Backstage Opens to Rave Reviews at the McVickar House

The Irvington Historical Society's newest exhibit, A View from Backstage, opened to rave reviews on Saturday, September 21st. The exhibit presents an over view of forty-six years of Irvington High School theater. Through the use of props, costumes, scripts, scenary and photos, the exhibit shares with visitors an inside view of the time, hard work and talent that go into a high school production.

On the evening before the opening, guests enjoyed a preview party at the McVickar House.

Stars lined the street with the names of those who have given so much to the hight school theater productions: Michael Penta, Thom Johnston, Larry Corio, Diana Selenow and Barbara Sciulli.

Guests mingle under tents on Main Street.
