Published between 1907 and 1969, the Irvington Gazette was the Village’s local news source during the first half of the twentieth century. The weekly newspaper covered “the activities, interests, and news of the people of Irvington and the Town of Greenburgh.” This exhibit situates the newspaper in Village history and Village life through displays of conserved issues of the Irvington Gazette and through pictorial descriptions of the key people and processes involved in its more than half-century existence. A documentary short about the making of the Gazette will also be on view.
Open to the public Thursdays and Saturdays 1 – 4 pm starting 4/24/25
