Irvington Historical Society’s “Collections” Exhibit

A village’s history is shaped by the curiosities, interests — and even obsessions — of its residents.  “Collections,” the Society’s new exhibit, gathers individual collections from Irvington residents to put these passions on display.  From the pop culture super-fans to the natural scientists, the devotees of historical objects and the lovers of the printed word, we have invited our neighbors to be our curators.  Come and see the remarkable treasures they have shared.

The exhibit at the Irvington History Center, 131 Main Street, opens in October 2024.  It will be open Thursday and Saturdays 1-4 pm through the winter and early spring months.
