These films are part of the Legacy Project, whose goal is to construct a picture of Irvington years ago through the stories of its people.

The people who appear in these films were long time residents of Irvington who agreed to share their memories of life in the village years ago.  The Legacy team interviewed them and photographed them as they spoke.  The participants supplied photos from their family albums, and the team supplemented them with others from the Historical Society archives to illustrate the stories.
