Isabel K. Benjamin, known as the “First Lady of Irvington” for her commitment to the village’s civic life, founded the Irvington Girl Scouts in 1924. Ahead of this centennial, Girl Scout cadettes Suhani Arya, Lily Korb and Elena Lark will share their research into the life and legacy of this feisty female, a lifelong member of The Church of St. Barnabas. Featuring special guests, their presentation will also explore the ways Girl Scouting has changed over the last century.

This Presentation will be a live, in-person event at The Church of St. Barnabas, 15 N. Broadway, Irvington, N.Y.  The presentation is free.

The Irvington Girl Scouts will be hosting an Ice Cream Social following the presentation, with ice cream from Penny Lick Ice Cream in Hastings.
